Two live shows with SAULT, directed by Khloe Dean.
Mola Movement performed alongside 20 other dancers and performers as part of SAULT's rare live appearance, choreographed and directed by Khloe Dean. Our capoeira work brought Afro-Brazilian movement into a boundary-crossing music moment for one of British music's most secretive collectives.

Mola Movement performed twice for Manchester City's Bahia in Manchester celebration, alongside 10 other capoeiristas, the legendary Carlinhos Brown and Olodum drummers. Sets ran both outside the Etihad Stadium and on the pitch itself, bridging Salvador and Manchester City's global fanbase.

Rui co-founded Capoeira Club Essex to bring the culture, movement and rhythm of Brazil to UK audiences, and leads the Mola Movement ensemble on every booking, from stadium activations to the Waldorf Astoria Maldives.
Beyond live performance, the team is camera-ready for brand campaigns. Recent work includes a FIFA TV spot for the Brazil vs Morocco game, delivered in half the allocated shoot time.

What Bookers Ask.
How much space do you need?
A capoeira performer needs roughly 4m x 4m of clear, level flooring. Larger ensembles scale from there. We'll advise on your venue when you send the brief.
Do you bring your own music?
Yes. Live drummers travel with the ensemble, and we bring a portable PA for smaller venues. For larger events we work with your production team.
How long is a typical set?
Set length scales with cast size. A solo performer runs about 5 minutes; a full ensemble can hold 20 to 30 minutes with performers rotating through capoeira, samba and drumming. Multiple shorter sets across an event also work well.
Can you tailor it to our brand?
Yes. Wardrobe, choreography, music and staging can all be shaped around your brief. We've delivered work for brands across sport, luxury hospitality and music.
How much notice do you need?
Ideally two to four weeks for a bespoke build. Short-notice bookings considered where the team's availability allows.
Are you insured?
Yes. Full public liability cover in place. Certificate available on request for procurement.
Do you travel worldwide?
London based, with bookings across the UK, Europe and further afield. We've performed as far as the Waldorf Astoria Maldives.
Can you provide performers for a shoot?
Yes. We regularly supply movement talent for stills and film. Rates and usage terms discussed per project.
