Progress at your pace.

Private sessions are the fastest way to build skill. You get undivided attention, immediate feedback, and a plan built around what you actually want to work on. Whether that is nailing a specific move, preparing for grading, getting fit, or just wanting more time in class, we shape each session around you.

Tailored to your goals
Tell us what you want to work on and we build the session around it. No fixed curriculum, no filler.

Build the skills that matter to you.

Every student wants something different. Here are the areas we most commonly work on in private sessions. Pick one, mix a few, or leave it to the coach to guide you.

Acrobatics
Cartwheels, aus, macacos, aerials, flips. Build them safely with proper progressions and a coach spotting every rep.
Music and instruments
Berimbau, pandeiro, atabaque, agogo. Learn the rhythms, the toques, and how to lead a roda through the music.
Flexibility and conditioning
Structured mobility work, active flexibility, strength for the movements you actually do in capoeira. Real progress in weeks.
Fitness and athletic training
Combine capoeira with strength and conditioning. Best suited to students who want to be pushed hard and see measurable gains.
Technique refinement
Slow down the movements you know and rebuild them properly. Kicks, escapes, transitions, rhythm. The stuff that matters in the roda.
General progression
Not sure where to start? We assess where you are, set clear goals, and build a plan. Great for beginners and pre-grading students.

Real progress, real families.

★★★★★

For the last four years, my son has been working with Professor Molinha, both joining group classes and also taking private lessons. It has been an amazing experience for him because even though Capoeira is a type of martial art, it actually combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music. He became much stronger and more athletic, improving his core muscles and posture immensely. His coordination developed as well and he has a great sense of rhythm as he plays instruments such as berimbau and pandeiro. Molinha is an old soul, very patient with kids. I feel very lucky that my son spends time with such an amazing individual, a true master in these modern days.

FAQ.

No experience required. Private sessions are especially good for complete beginners because you get to learn the basics properly, without feeling self-conscious in a group.
Comfortable sportswear you can move in, and water. Bare feet is standard in capoeira. If you have a CCE uniform, wear it. Otherwise anything you can stretch, kick, and roll in is fine.
Yes. Regular slots are the best way to make consistent progress. Once we have run the first session and agreed timing, we can hold a weekly or fortnightly slot for you.
Yes, within reason. Get in touch with your location and we will let you know if we can cover it and whether any travel cost applies.
Absolutely, and we recommend it. Group classes give you the roda experience and community. Private sessions let you speed up your technical progress. Many of our long-term students do both.
We ask for 24 hours notice to reschedule without charge. Same-day cancellations are charged in full, since the coach's time has been reserved.
Once we have agreed the details, we send a Stripe payment link. Payment is made session by session unless you have arranged a regular block.
